This stylish One Marylebone wedding took place on a beautiful September’s day. Jenny and Dan wanted a relaxed celebration in the heart of London. 120 of the couple’s closest family and friends gathered at the iconic London wedding venue, One Marylebone. The couple opted for a humanist ceremony and read heart-felt, personally written vows to each other.

The bridal party got ready at central London luxury hotel, the Connought in Mayfair. The bride wore a minimalist, understated Victoria Beckham wedding gown. With it’s asymmetric folds and clean lines, Jenny looked a very stylish London bride indeed. Her hair was by Essente and her pretty, natural-looking bridal makeup was done by Leila Boyd. The look was complete with a trailing veil by Jenny Packham and blue patent leather Valentino rockstud heels. In fact, Jenny wasn’t entirely decided on shoes so she had 2 more pairs on standby incase of a change of heart! The bridesmaids wore dresses from Reiss. The very dapper groom wore a Hugo Boss suit and shoes from Tods.
It was very apparent that Jenny and Dan were completely besotted with each other! From the moment Jenny walked down the light-filled aisle and saw Dan, the pair couldn’t stop smiling! Throughout the ceremony, they exchanged glances and held hands. The couples’ vows were sweet, funny and loving. It was very clear to the all who were there that these two were lucky to have found each other. This only made my job that much easier during our lovely couple portrait session just before sunset. We wandered around Regents Park nearby and caught the last of the golden evening light. We also got some wonderful architectural portraits in front of the Sir John Nash-designed Park Crescent buildings opposite.
The dinner reception was held in the spectacular main space of One Marylebone. It’s grand ceiling heights were emphasised with huge clouds of gold and white, giant pom poms from the Pom Pom Factory. Three very long tables lit by dramatic candelabras seated all the guests. The bride’s bouquet, ceremony flowers and table arrangements were by Brian Kirby. Speeches were honest, thought-provoking and ofcourse relentlessly funny. The beautiful Jenny, now changed in to a stylish white jumpsuit, opened the dance floor with her new beau to kick-off the spectacular party to Hall and Oates’ “You make my dreams come true”. This One Marylebone Wedding really was a perfect city-chic celebration for this loved-up pair.
