I loved working with these two! Lois and Adam have been together a very long time and it’s completely apparent in their playful, relaxed relationship just how well these two know each other – she describes him as ‘grumpy and loud’ and he describes her as,’ditzy and cheerful’ – love it! They are warm, friendly people and having grown up in the same town, their wedding brought together lots of common friends from their childhoods which added to the relaxed ambiance of the wedding day.

With a lot of their family and friends having travelled in from out of town for the wedding, Lois and Adam wanted to introduce them to a stunning part of London for their wedding celebrations. The very stylish Bingham is personally one of my all-time favourite London boutique hotels with an award-winning restaurant, and the location right on the Richmond riverfront is simply divine.
Lois looked like a Hollywood starlet in a Pronovias (Fiona) ivory satin wedding dress with one shoulder neckline and empire waist purchased from The Wedding Dress Shop in Wimbledon. Her bridesmaids wore chic navy strapless dresses from Coast. The wedding floral design by Bramble & Moss was beautifully understated with simple white baby’s breath and lot of mossy greens in antique silver vases and glass pots and jars. Lois made her own bouquet using pearls and beads to match the straps on the back of her dress. The 3-tiered cake by Zoe Clark Cakes was again elegant and understated with spray of white on white delicate sugar flowers.
After a little bit of rain (quite typical of an English summers day!) luckily during the ceremony only, guests enjoyed a glorious sunny afternoon reception out on the terrace and gardens of the Bingham Hotel whilst I managed to get out for a stroll on the river tow path with the lovely couple for our sun-drenched portraits under the weeping willow and against the backdrop of the stunning Richmond riverfront.
