It was a privilege to photograph this elegant Danesfield House wedding. Melanie and Simon contacted me more than a year before their big day. Mel and I soon discovered we both had an ‘African connection’! She was born and raised in South Africa (and me close by in Zambia!). The stunning venue Danesfield House somehow reminded me of the colonial-style wineries of the Cape and evoked that ‘South-African’ feel, tucked away in the English countryside.
Mel & Simon’s Marlow Wedding
Louise & James’ Destination wedding in Mallorca with a Pronovias Dress
Louise and James comissioned me to be their Mallorca Destination Wedding Photographer. When I first spoke with Louise, there were an uncanny number of connections between us and we both felt it was meant to be! Firstly, I was refered by my gorgeous couple Marsha and Tom. Secondly we both live/had lived near Ealing in West London, and thirdly James worked at Joseph Joseph where the director Richard Joseph is one of my husband’s closest friends! Louise had also worked closely with Rich Joseph from her days being a buyer at Selfridges. I’m sure there were a few more connections too which I can’t recall. With all these connections, we quickly felt like friends.
Marisa & Ed’s country wedding at Gate Street Barn with a Claire Pettibone dress
I was a Gate Street Barn Wedding Photographer for this stunning African-inspired luxury Surrey wedding. I cannot lie – this wedding was very close to my heart. Africa (particularly Zambia) is my spiritual home having grown up there, and sweet Marisa and Edward had a beautiful African-inspired wedding which had me at the word go. The couple celebrated their nuptials on a stunning July day at Gate Street Barn in Bromley, Surrey. With Marisa’s family in Zambia and Edward’s family in the Caribbean and Germany, they felt the UK would be a central place for their wedding blessing where they could bring a little bit of all of those elements together and have a lovely mix of cultures for their big day.
Siobhan & Tom’s Romantic, Elegant Wedding with a Temperley Dress
From the minute I met Siobhan and Tom, I realised what a relaxed, happy couple they are. This reflected in their big day amongst their large group of family and friends. It was an honour to work with Siobhan who is a talented photographer herself shooting fashion and commercial work. They celebrated their wedding day in the beautiful English countryside where I was a Grove hotel luxury wedding photographer. 385 Guests enjoyed the warm May sunshine in the manicured gardens and pools of The Grove. The venue has stunning views of the rolling green hills of Hertfordshire beyond.
